Bee or Wasp? ID please

Not sure anymore. I always think they are bees and find most are wasp.

Thanks. Honey Bee would have been my first guess. But then again, thats what I guess everytime - heh heh.

it is a Honey Bee, Wasps are bright Yellow not orange, wasps do not have as much "fur" either. Also keep a lookout for a fly that looks like a wasp, he has the same colors and likes to hang around flowers, but he hovers unlike wasps.

That was with my 40D and Canon 100mm 2.8 macro lens. The bee was just sitting there, so it gave me time to set up my tripod. So instead of having to take many shots to get something in focus, I only had to take a few. I set it up on Live View with 10X zoom - to get best focus.

Shot settings:

F/8
1/8 sec
ISO-200


40D & 60D
