I currently use "Easy Release" (http://www.applicationgap.com/apps/easyrelease/ (external link)) to create model release's on the fly when I'm shooting portraits for people or families, but I'm in a position where I will be shooting events (local 5ks, dance performances), and I'm wondering if anyone is familiar with something similar that is more focused towards these events?

IMO, there's no "Easy" when it comes to legal issues. You might check to see what the PPA has to say.

You can create your own release forms in EASY RELEASE.

I married the model, so I still pay for the shooting..:D

How is EASY Release? i checked them out but can't get a reading on whether the contracts are as good, i would like to actually be able to see a full contract from them with whatever options they offer before i shell out 10$ for something i already have in print form.

I like Easy Release for it's Model Release forms - it didn't look like it had a suitable launching ground for an event type contract, but I'll go back and check.
