Hi. Is it possible to mix and match triggers and receviers on the 2.4Ghz even if the brand/make is different? I would think that you can but I'm not positive

It is not likely that you will be able to mix and match triggers. The RF602 and RF603 are not backward compatible. (As far as I know there is no compatibility between RF trigger manufacturers) Some high end triggers actually have encryption as part of the RF stream. If you want to use a pair of triggers from one manufacturer to trigger your camera, and another manufacturer to fire your lights, you are safe. You can not have a transmit and receive pair with mixed brands or makes.
