Another two from me, both within 15 mins of each other......First came the storm clouds and the rain, then came the bright summers sun with some lovely clouds.

Nice pictures. It would be interesting to see a closer crop of Souter Lighthouse to make the most of the lighthouse and that lovely sky. Maybe crop out some of the area to the right of the lighthouse?
I love the place, but I am biased being a South Shields gal myself :D I don't get to visit often these days but when i do I can often be found there. Thanks for posting (and making me homesick)

Nice - especially like the first picture. Great light, colors, and clouds.

I'm in two minds about the second shot, probably cos I was there:-) I like it as it shows whats coming weather wise, but I can see your point about it not having a lot of detail and wanting to crop, but then again I think that adds a nice contrast.

Good to see a few of us 'Sand Dancers' on this forum! :-P Where are you based now?

Cheers

I'm based in Stoke-on-Trent now but come up to Boldon Colliery to visit my mum and my son in Gateshead. I love to walk that area in the mornings and to get down onto Marsden beach in if the tide is out (Oh those steps!). I'm there again mid August and hope to try out my new 10stop ND filter.

Its a lovely stretch of coast and I have some nice photos from around the Marsden bay area.
With all the changing weather conditions theres lots of the cliff faces falling into the sea at the moment.

Cheers
