Hello again, so here is what I was trying to achieve with my previous posts about putting 2 pictures on a single pdf to send to the printer...have sorted that one out....however,

I create the new document in PS5
Open the pictures
Add one to the document with move tool and position
Add the second and position

But when I try to reposition the first photo I can't..I have tried clicking the photo and the move tool but each time the second photo is the only one to move even if I have clicked on the first and the cursor is on the first...any ideas?

every photo is a different layer. If you want to click and move a layer u have to have "auto select" selected in the tool properties. Otherwise u have to choose the appropriate layer from your layers palette.

hope i helped

You can't "reposition the first photo" because it will be the background layer. You have to 2-click on the layer name & change it before moving it.
