I'd be suspicious of a corgi selling gear too...

The queen wouldn't... :D

I love how people ask you the same silly question everytime you try and sell something they want:

"Why are you selling it?"

What exactly does that have to do with anything? I mean, if someone is screwing you over, their not going to say "Dang it! You got me...I'm selling the 70-200/2.8L for $1000 because the AF motor broke...it's your basic fixer-upper!". If somebody is selling their gear, they're doing it because they'd prefer YOUR money over keeping THEIR gear. What more do you need to know??

Well....perhaps the previous users experience would shed light and perhaps help the prospective buyer deciding whether or not its for them

When i go online and look at the menu for a resturaunt, Supposedly one that is specifically for our locality, and then call to order and they dont have any of the specials or anything else thats advertised in big bold letters on the website...

I need a quick but honest opinion.

How good of a camera is a D90 with a 18-105 lens?

A last minute thing came up and they wanted pictures, and the 5D is gone. So I don't know if I can get away with taking a group photo and some candids with the D90 or if I need to grab my 7D from home. I have no idea what usage is going to be... but sometimes they want things like this for print in one of our magazine/newsletters later on.

I would feel more comfortable with the 7D

I'm just a little concerned with my lack of a UWA lens. Well more so that I'm just stuck with a 28 and 85.

Hmm do you access to any other lenses? Or just what you own? If so then go with the D90.

Just what I own. I may be able to get access to like a nifty fifty and maybe an 18-55 but that's it.

It's for a group photo of 8-14 people and then some of them working or something.

If you can get the 18-55 then your 7D will do well.

Nick, I'd take both! Try and use yours as much as possible (the other one is a noink after all), but if you can't make it work with what you have for lenses, then resort to the D90. I always prefer familiarity for something that needs to be good.

That's what I was just thinking.
