Well I ran home and grabbed my 7D. It ended up being a couple of group shots and then headshots, so my lenses worked out alright.

I have another group shot on Friday that went from 12 people to 21... so now I'm trying to figure out a lens for that. I may just have to borrow my cousins 18-55...

Are you shooting indoors for the group shots?

You used your 28 and 85, then? Is the 28 not wide enough or you can't back up for the group of 21?

Nope, out in our courtyard. Which I would just scoot back more, but it's kind of long and narrow, so if I go back too far with my 28mm, I'll start getting stuff in the shot I don't want.

Oh, it looks like I'll start getting "rental fees" for using my equipment from now on. It's a step in the right direction :p

See my answer to Julian, that I posted after you. :D

I can back up, I just am afraid I'm going to start getting stuff in the shot I don't want. I mean, I could try to stack them 3 deep and shoot down a bit more, that would help a bit.

Yeah, there are 5 travelling Nifties. There is one just for Canada. It's a very short list in Canada, so even though I had it in February, I have it back again.
