Nope, out in our courtyard. Which I would just scoot back more, but it's kind of long and narrow, so if I go back too far with my 28mm, I'll start getting stuff in the shot I don't want.

Oh, it looks like I'll start getting "rental fees" for using my equipment from now on. It's a step in the right direction :p

So, are you going to get the 15-85?

I need a quick but honest opinion.

How good of a camera is a D90 with a 18-105 lens?

A last minute thing came up and they wanted pictures, and the 5D is gone. So I don't know if I can get away with taking a group photo and some candids with the D90 or if I need to grab my 7D from home. I have no idea what usage is going to be... but sometimes they want things like this for print in one of our magazine/newsletters later on.

the `18-105 is an awesome lens that i kept on my d200 almost always, i loved it.

the d90 is a good camera but i would have to get a good deal on it,new cameras are coming out in a few weeks from Nikon so the prices are going to drop on the models already out.

The D90 and 18-105 should suffice fine, the 18-105 is actually a decent lens optically and a slight step above the 18-55

The D90 may not have the same resolution as the 7D but the IQ is still pretty stinking good, even ISO1600 should be decently usable in a pinch
