The D90 and 18-105 should suffice fine, the 18-105 is actually a decent lens optically and a slight step above the 18-55

The D90 may not have the same resolution as the 7D but the IQ is still pretty stinking good, even ISO1600 should be decently usable in a pinch

Well that shoot was today. I used my 7D and got away with it. :D

I agree... D90 is quite good IQ wise and feature wise... and the 18-105 is fast to focus too :D

I don' like the material they used on the black one when I saw it though JD... it gets fat pretty fast too...specially if you put some lenses on the side pocket like this. if you are short and stocky I bet you want a slimmer profile bag  ;) :p

I wouldn't abuse my lenses by putting it in the side pockets. The idea is to keep it light as possible. Btw, Zeiss 35 is ordered!! :D

actually the side pocket is plenty big, you can fit your 1DsIII in there for sure... I either put the flash and the macro lens in there or the Sigma 12-24mm. it has the same materials as the nylon flaps and dividers

The Zeiss 50 MP MFD is 9.45 inches with .05x mag. Is that any good?
