Crap... I need to hurry up and pick what PSU I'm going to get...

I think I did finalize what case I will be using... It will be the Rocketfish case, which is a Lian Li rebranded case that best buy was selling, at and one point clearing out for $50. It's been in the garage for quite awhile... but it's a monster.

I have 2 Nikons. Suffice it to say, I've bought 8 or so Canons (film and digital, SLR and P&S) since then.

Well I have an AX-850 in the cart. I'm a bit concerned on it being a large enough PSU though.. I could potentially in the near future, be running overclocked and overvolted GTX 570's in SLI with about 5-6 7200 RPM drives as well.

But I have the option to get an Antec HCP-1200 for $200... it's one of the best PSU's on the market today.

I need to figure out how I'm going to keep my PC off the ground. I'm either going to get something like this (external link) or this (external link), and set it on top... or I don't know if I want to build like a 12" high stand and just put it on that. The two things from Ikea would be about 1.5" lower than my desk as they are some of the leg options for my desk, so that could be nice having it elevated right next to be... the problem is the case is like 28" tall.. so that's awfully high.

Didn't we talk about not having proper grounding in your home?

why do you need it to be off the ground? I see myself running a few hard drives myself, I only have 100GB left on my 1TB right now

I would go with the first option to get the best ventialtion possible and the Antec sounds like a bargain for 1200 watts.

Because I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE! Computers that are on the ground...

Especially on carpet, it's just a disaster waiting to happen.
