hey are you sure you are looking at the 3531S?

I bet the 3531S and 3541LS have the same plate Omar...only the legs differ.

yes, that 3531S is only 51" tall I think and folds to 24"

Im pretty sure it was that one. It sat right next to this one. But ill double check next time. Ill have a look at the two series. However, i have a feeling ill go back to the original

If the sun sets or rises in that area it would make for some great colors as well! Where are you going in September?

True...lighting is everything...I'd like to catch this area with some light fog on the top of the hill too, so early in the morning might be my best bet. I like haze AND fog... ;)

I can't say where I'm going, sorry...nothing fun or exciting, though...work rarely is... :-P

Understandable. Haze and fog would make for a good B+W image :)

as far as I know each series has the same top plate..as long as its a 3 series the top plates are interchangeable UNLESS you were looking at the 3531 (non-S) not systematic version... it has a smaller top plate but it has a center column

Tom, for me it is that there is either too much dead space with the sky, or too much dead space with the grassy fields. Esp with the fence there, you either look at the fence or the trees, and it lacks a killer instinct.

There was a lot of glare and reflections of people's clothing I had to play with to get around when shooting through glass screens:

Haze (at least the way I understand it) is the visible degredation caused by atmospheric disturbance of light waves. I think what you are showing here shows haze, obviously, but also a lot of low-lying clouds (also known as fog).

Good morning.

So I woke up at 5:15am this morning for my ride, I walked out to check the tires on my bike. Rear tire is fine, the front is totally flat again. So I figure I'll just pump it up like last time... nope. There was a stupid hole in the tube... So I spent most of my riding time this morning swapping out tubes, but managed to squeeze in a 30 minute ride. Saturday is going to be miserable :/

Harm i like the 3rd and 4th shot. On the 1st shot if you played around with layers in PS you could lower the contrast on the cliff he is leaning on. Then bump him up in contrast. This way he will stand out more and the rocks would be less of a distraction.

Interesting...right after I shot this I stabbed 4 people with a sharp stick, so this image is clearly not an accurate reflection of my normal intensity. :D
