No, not a slow connection. And yes, average JPEG file size of these 10 files is probably about 15MB. My RAW files for the 7D are averaging about 23-28MB thus far.

Lol, i have to compress mine to be less than whatever flickrs limit is...but its much less than 15mb

But my full res jpegs i keep on my pc do range from 7.5mb to 20mb in size...o_O

Smugmug currently allows up to 21MB files to be uploaded.

.......Four files left to go out of 10....hehe. Funny, it got to the larger files out of the bunch and speed up.....go figure. :lol:

huwaaa... wit the volume of photos I upload.... 4000 in 10 months, I probably can't upload a lot of photos if each one of them is 15mb :lol: I actually resize everything to 1024 on the longest side and upload

Steven, I usually upload the full resolution JPEG's to Smugmug. I can upload unlimited files, so why not.

As for the files being so large, keep in mind they are coming off of a camera with 18 mega pickles. ;)
