so I said I felt bad buying just $2 from ebay but I don't know how to consolidate stuff so I bought it  it will probably arrive around later in the month  and I will pay like $1 processing fee at the local post.

all in all its still cheaper than buying a step down ring here (gonna cost me $7) and 82-77mm is not available as well...hehe

Hehe....Ya, they look almost alike. Just for a size comparison, that dark brown metal tube piece of the fence on the left hand side is just over 6 foot tall.

For the shot of the bird I had the lens resting on top of one of the wooden fence posts, as my tripod was back in the car. The lens does handle well hand-held though.

Oh, just remembered......The shots of the horses are all hand held with the 150-500.

Hehe.....yup, this is about the average size of a Clydesdale horse. And remember, these aren't even the bigest breed of draft horse either.

They are magnificant horses and these two seemed to love posing for the camera, and liked all the attention.

The lens its self also comes in at a hefty 4.2lbs....Add on another 2 for the camera. The OS comes in handed. ;)
