A bunch of random stuff.

One day I'll be moving tables, the next I will be taking photos, the day after that I may be running a Tricaster setup, and then the next day laying out print jobs, and then heck I may even be cleaning carpets and putting up cublicle furniture the day after that.

Hiya Omar. Back reading on your flash comments...

I realized you probably have a 580exii and I have a 430exii which doesn't have a flash meter. So I can't input into the flash the camera settings. Thanks though.

I've been reading that strobist blog. It's mostly talks about flash in general. I'll hang out a bit at the flash threads see what I can pick up.

No no. Just meter and put your camera in manual mode. Put in the setting you metered for in on the camera and not the flash. Then shoot away as i think the 430 exii has ETTL-II.

Then for more dramatic portraits dial in Flash Exposure Compensation of -1. Or just play around with it depending on the environment.
