OK... I'll play around with FEC to -1. I sometimes get too much highlights with the flash sometimes.

I think I just over thought/over complicated things. Heh. Thanks. ;)

Dont worry. I think we all did that with flash photography. Just think about it like this:

1- Your exposing for the background. So dial in what you meter for.
2- Dial in your flash (FEC in this case).

So its two things your doing for one shot. One for the background and one for the subject. It really helps to think about it in that order. Trying think about both at the same time is what confused me at first

Do it! But keep your current wheels for most of your riding. You wouldn't want to mess up a $1200-$1300 rear wheel hitting a rock on a training ride. :p

easiest way to do it for me anyway during the day set your camera to TV (Shutter priority) metter the sky at around your max sync speed then switch the camera to M input your same SS and put the f. stop to what ever it was meetering in TV put -1 on your FEC and fire, check your exposure and change your settings from there. At night i do kind of the same thing but leave SS at around 1/30-1/80th and just adjust ISO as needed

Wow... someone was trying to burn a DVD in iDVD yesterday, they couldn't get it to work. They were trying to dump an 8GB 6 minute video on (how the heck is a 6 min video 8GB). I know iDVD reconverts them for you and all... but why the heck would you put a 8GB file on it...

It's a good thing I have this 12 Core / 24GB of ram monster to re-export it. :D

what did you call me?
