So today i went and tested this Garmin Edge 800 out. Here are a few images:
Here is the data review screen after the ride is complete. Don't mind the plastic on the screen im waiting for the screen protector to come in the mail. You can see averages and maximums for speed, cadence and heart beats per minute. You can also see totals for distance, time, hight elevation and descending, and calories burned.

Here is a side view of the Garmin sitting on the stem. Again dont mind the plastic

Here you can see the Bontrager Speedtrap sensor in the fork. Yup I have a chip on my bike since i actually ride it pretty tough at times

Now after you complete your ride you can upload it to Garmin Connect which gives you all the data information for it. It is pretty amazing stuff and you can see it right at this link:

Another cool thing you can do is send the ride off into google earth which you can also use to build a custom route. Here is a screen shot of the quick ride i did today. You can see the George Washington Bridge and the height elevation differences. This device is much much more accurate than what my iphone could do (it is what you expect after all for the buy in price). All in all im a VERY satisfied customer.
