Yeah if you were to see me going up hill you dont see a slow down. Its consistent all the way up. I dont have highways in my area i can ride at full speed so i have a lot of slow down in my rides. Sucks but its the nature of the area.

Once you start approaching that 100+ range if you havent trained for it its tough. Lance Armstrong used to keep 110+ for hours  (roids :p )

It all depends on the person too, some people can just handle higher cadences.

Like Frank Schleck climbs at a rather high cadence, while people like Cadel Evans tend to power through it.

I'd like to get a bike. But the only thing on wheels I am looking at right now is a pushchair (stroller). :D:D

Well, that's a priority first.

It is kind of funny though, most of my friends/family come to me when they have a question about just about anything...

It doesn't matter if it bike, computer, camera, cooking, etc related. For the most part, I've been there, done that and have spent more than my fair share looking into it.

That's cool. Most of family members pretty much do the same. :)

Researching stuff pays off. I do it with a lot of stuff too. I looked at tents for years before determining what would best suit my needs/wants. I bought that and this weekend proved that I bought the right one.

Years ago I wanted to get a video camera. Spent a couple of months researching everything and checking them out in-store. When I had made my decision I went to buy it and the sales guy wanted to tell me about other cameras. I told him no, I know what I want. He asked me some questions about why/why not and quickly realized that I knew what I wanted and why. He said that he really liked it that I actually had done some research. I ended up getting about $400 of free stuff in the deal. He gave me every discount he possibly could.

It normally does. It's always fun showing up the sales guys too. :D
