I do not have a studio, so my dining room and natural light from the windows had to do. I've enjoyed trying these posed shots and hope to get more opportunities -- it's a lot harder than it looks! Any critique or suggestions are very welcome.

3. This one bums me out, because it's my favorite, but a tad soft. I hope to get another chance at this one:

4. I did a few edits of this one -- not sure which one I like best! Any input is appreciated:

Cute and nicely done with the use of window light.

Yes -- I just wish I knew half of what I do now with my older kids, but I did make sure they got a lot of Olan Mills portraits (not great, but better than my P&S!)

Thanks! These pics did require a decent amount of PP due to the lighting issue, but overall I'm happy that this option is available to me and works as well as it does. :)

Aw, I hear that a lot, too. I expect all my grandkids will give me my "fix" after this one. :)

Very nice shots, I am partial to $4 and 6 tho in that one I would tone down the yellows just a hair.

I love #2 and my choice of the edits is #5, but I'm not sure why, hehe.

And WOW, 11 kids! You must be Wonderwoman! :-)
