I have to assume this is a thread somewhere, but I did a search and nothing turned up. so I apologize if it's a duplication. if there is one, please point me to it and I'll delete this thread.

so anyway...looking to get a polarizer. I've got...

canon 60d
canon 24-70mm 2.8 L series
sigma 70-200mm 2.8

I think they both take the same size, 77mm. B+W gets good reports here with Hoya and Tiffen next. I use B+W Kaesemann Circular Polarizing MRC Filters. No reason why other than others report good results with them.

Either B+W, or one of the higher end multi coated Hoya's.

+2. Great filter, well built, no odd color casts; I love mine.

Marumi gets good reviews at a fraction of the price of the bigger names.

After reading the lenstip info which I originally got via this forum, I went for the Marumi DHG Super Circular P.L.D from http://www.2filter.com/prices/catalog.html (external link) Got it in 2 days! They have great product knowledge and prices!
Took it out to a National Park the next day and am very happy with the results!
Just one of many benefits of belonging to this outstanding forum!

I like the Lee CP and the fact that I can use it on any lens is a big plus. I have found my whole lee filter system to be a joy to use.

Also use the Kaesemann. Excellent results. Check www.2filter.com (external link) for some very good prices. I get all my filters there.
