Her lower lip and teeth are the only things in this photo that aren't affected by the very narrow depth of field. was that on purpose? I think the focus is way to narrow...

Agree on the focus. Lighting is OK though.

I use f5.6, an off camera flash with a M42 len. It wasn`t the purpose.

The image looks soft/out of focus, and I can see tartar deposits on your subject's teeth - not a good look.

EXIF says this was shot at f/1.4.

Really, the main subject of this shot is the cupcake. Using such a thin DOF, your focus should have been on that rather than the models mouth.


Why isn't my wallet bottomless? :rolleyes:

To change the dof and focus, I've to take a new photo.
But I made an image clean up. Better?
