Dang, these are really nice pictures of awesome time pieces. I have always wanted a Submariner, your picture has given me the itch again.

Thanks! You just can't go wrong with a Submariner. :)

Fantastic shot!

I'm also a watch collector and have a couple of the Rolex's you've posted here (among other watches). Tried taking watch photos many times with varying degrees of success. I'll post one of them here.

Have a ton of questions for you but before bothering you with them I'll see if you are still around.

Thanks for sharing those photos and the tips. Hope to see you around soon.

(my current infatuation is the new Admiral's Cup. Have one model and thinking of a new one, they are beautiful).

Those are excellent shots!

This month DIGITAL PHOTO PRO published an article from me on how to do macro photography with watches being the subject example.

How about posting a few set-ups here? Lighting Set-Up Links –illustrations of real world examples

Wow, hats off Daytona, I thought the Submariner was a vector illustration at first from clean lines and defined colors...I am a Tag Heuer Guy, but this is mouth watering.

But where is the picture of the President, all gold, black face, NO diamonds...?

That's the watch I want on my wrist when I die. Then they can have it back.

Excellent shots. I am just a beginner but they are way cool!

Hi all--I recently purchased a 350D and I collect watches so I was interested in this thread. Here's one of my first efforts; the watch is an Omega Seamaster 300 and it is about 35 years old.
