hi all,
i need help about 1d flash, its not much i can find online.

do all the newer flash work with the 10 year old 1dc?:confused:
i read somewhere saying 6v and 250v thingy....
if u mount 250v into a camera supports 6v only, it will burn the camera:rolleyes: (i dont want to burn my 1dc just yet:o )
how do i know my flash volts/1dc hotshoe volts?

i currently have nissin622 mkI, anyone know if it work?
i checked nissin official side and it doesnt list any 1d series

Di622 for Canon EOS

* 5D / 7D
* 50D / 40D / 30D / 20D / 10D
* 600D(Rebel T3i) / 550D(Rebel T2i) / 500D(Rebel T1i) / 450D(Rebel XSi) / 400D(Rebel XTi) / 350D(Rebel XT)/ 300D(Rebel X)
* 1000D(Rebel XS/Kiss F)
* 60D 1)

if nissin wont work, how about the youngnuo YN 468? (it seem cheap and full manual contorl)

i like my 1d more than my 550 now (even it only has iso3200 and 4mp), dont wana risk any chance to brisk it just yet~

thanks in advance!

As far as I know you sould not have any probelms with the Nissin or the Youngnuo units, go for a look in the flash and strobe section and do a search
