About the same. I'll keep you all informed of significant changes. She's sick, but holding her own.

She's a trooper. She's holding up, and in some ways, enjoying all the attention just a little.

Came up to the barn today to find the farm owner, and our farrier who lives on the property, working on my horse's foot. They saw him lame in the field, went to check on him, and hadn't called yet. Turns out it was an abscess which is common but hurts until it blows. They got it out just as we showed up :)

We pulled Marq out for a soak and he will be fine but looks pretty sore here.

We have the same problem frequently with Josephine, our donkey. I've gotten pretty good at soaking her hoof and getting the abscess released. To me the cure (nasty smelly black goop you pack into the hoof) to pull out the abscess seems worse than the abscess.

looks like a good scrabble word.

My cats are currently having a BALL with an empty cardboard box in the living room.

I so dropped all my scrabble games for some reason. I think I got sick or busy and never looked back *shrug*

Everyone loves a good card board box.

I have a cousin who I am so very close to, she has a little kitten named Miles. She has had cats her whole life, and she gets them de-clawed. It just kills me. He is scheduled for this week.
