Nah, just the miserably short wire I had to deal with. It's only about 30kV. I've managed to squeeze some more umph out of it now, that was while it was running a 9v battery, I've now rigged up a 12v battery out of D-Cells. With that I can get a stable arc at around 1/2 inch, and it's completely silent. And a bit spooky how silent it is.

Pretty fall colors, we are reaching peak around here and I am trying to arrange a trip on Sunday for me and the kids to see some nice sights. I have an aunt who lives about an hour north of me, so we are going to head in her direction for pumpkin picking and visit with her for lunch and what not. She is a lot of fun, my mom's only living sibling and just turned 87. She's always been very active and independent, but just recently was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis and is now house bound and on oxygen and really pissed off about it!! I try to get the kids up to see her as often as I can, it is always more fun to have an activity associated with it and they share their excitement with her and tell her all about it when we get to her house.

We tend to get mostly yellows around here with the trees. The bushes light up all the various colours though.
