Yes, but for the young and impressionable reading this, keep it mind it will cause serious freeze burns as it comes out of the tank if it is not regulated and will cause loss of consciousness. If said tank is still flowing when you lose consciousness you may die from breathing too much. I have had the joy of playing with big nitrous tanks before and seen what could have been really ugly fatal accidents. Also the nitrous used in cars as a fuel is not safe for breathing as far as I know.

Hope your grandfather is OK Raz.

Mike, how's the kidney stones :)

G'mae folks.

I'm so happy right now, I got my boyfriend Lightroom 3 for his birthday yesterday. :D He had been one of the beta testers for LR 1...and had not used it since then. Definitely a good day. (He was willing to share it so now I have LR3 on my laptop. :D :D )

My machine continues to run like molasses. I am backing up the whole thing to an external drive and then I think I might try re-installing stuff...

all these programs are free

might check and see if you have a rootkit virus:
this program works well
http://blogs.computerworld.com …rkys_tdss_killer_lives_on (external link) (there's a link to it about halfway down)

and in case your virus scan isn't picking up the problem, try:
http://go.eset.com/us/online-scanner (external link)

and after those:
http://www.malwarebytes.org/ (external link)

and if you get it all figured out...I highly recommend using these programs at all times:

http://www.zonealarm.com …ecurity-free-firewall.htm (external link) (much better firewall than windows)

They are bonding on to bring themselves to the same potential as the line. I did my hot work out of a bucket on a crane with an insulated boom. The bucket had a metal liner, and we wore full body suits that had metal thread in the fabric. The suit was bonding to the bucket liner, ans as we got close we bonded to the line with a clamp on the end of a pole (hot-stick). This brought us up to the potential of the line. Kinda line a bird on a wire. Still, using tools we would still draw a significant arc when using them on connectors.

Yep... I figured they were doing something like that (the aircraft, and the worker aren't grounded, so who knows what potential they could be at) I also remember them talking about (in particular) the special socks the lineman had to wear that had tiny filaments of conductor woven into the fabric.

I had no idea you did this kind of work...
... that explains a lot, actually

Mike, how's the kidney stones :)

The stone is gone. It made an interesting plink sound as it escaped.
