Hey guys... What's up?

I just finished writing a critical essay in which i just called Eliade a fraud.... (I am so proud of myself) :D

Well calling Mircea Eliade a fraud is one thing putting together a well structured researched and cogent argument to sustain your hypothesis is another, I am sure that you did just that though :-)

This guy arrived straight at our bow at very high speed and passed very close to us (while taking pictures...). But one time wasn't enough, he came back. Police didn't seem really happy

Does the rifle the Guard (or the Junior Guard) has give a clue as to "more recent than"? Judging by the hair styles on some of the people in the background, and that it seems to be scanned from film, I'd guess it dates from the '70s.

Jon, you are spot on they started to move over onto the SA80 around 1980 and the clothes and cars look 70s. I have posted the link onto the Welsh Guards Reunited website to see if we can identify the Guardsman. I recon he deserved a credit for the way he behaved with the little lad.

He does, indeed. That was an outstanding performance, especially not stepping on the tot when he started wandering out of formation during the march out. Puts me in mind of the Evzones in front of the Greek War Memorial.

I did... I called his "Novel of the nearsighted adolescent" to be influenced by external factors and that he used that novel to create a context for his autobiographical books (bengal nights) and his tampered with the novel by inserting experiences that he lived in India... and a lot more...

Good Day :D

Didier, enjoyed the time lapse and photos. :)

Two significant happenings tonight:

1. We watched half of the movie, Water for Elephants. Lois got so upset with the animal cruelty, she made me turn it off. I guess I'll come back after she goes to bed and watch the rest.

2. McRib sandwich for supper. Not really sure what I ate, but it appeared to be some sort of meat-like substance on a roll with pickles and (my guess) barbecue sauce. Strange.

Can't say I have heard of the movie, was it any good?

I have never had one of those sandwiches, and have not even set foot in a McDonald's in many years now. I do eat the odd fast food burger, but to me McD's does not really qualify as food. I did have to succumb to the pleadings of small children the odd time many years ago, and got more than my fill then.

Cute little fella. I too doubt in today's world that would be allowed without going through lots of political channels first.

As some of you may know I am not a great fox fan, but this clip is wonderful.

Since he isn't after domestic foul, I can see why you like watching in a less encroached environment where they are doing their part balancing part for nature.

The little guardsman is cute, too. The music brought back memories of the kids lyrics we used which ties in well with the McRib conversation.;)

Ok, my first try at time-lapse...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0_wxWxHbyA (external link)

I didn't have a programmable shutter release, so it was done manually...

Very impressive.

G'MAE all. I hope everyone remembered to go through the biannual ridiculous time ritual last night.

Good morning all. Halfway through the clock setting ritual - downstairs is done - upstairs is pending. Then on the the ritual smoke alarm and carbon monoxide alarm battery replacements.

And then on to the cameras? Mine are done, except for one I can't seem to find.

I was going to change the clock in my 40D, but when I went into the settings I discovered I never changed it at the beginning of the year.
