This (external link) was filmed in Zane's back yard. It's the most recent project to come out of his garage.

LOL! I just got back from launching a bunch of stuff. That shell was fired in Japan. I forget the details but the neat thing is how high they launch that giant. That was a heck of a mortar blast to get it up there.

YES! A shell of shells. An ordanary size shell is full of stars usually. That was full of large shells so it filled the sky with an instant fireworks show.

The biggest I've ever fired was a 12....I can't imagine firing a 48.....they had to fire it electronically....no way I would be anywhere near that sucker.

That sure sounded like Japanese on the PA system.

The paper lanterns were another clue.

Thanks, guys. You, too.

Lois is changing channels, and she settled on ABC who has Dick Clark on. He's a tough old guy, and he's doing better than I would have imagined.

Dick actually looked and sounded better this year than he did last year. He was borderline zombified for that show.

That's true. I can't imagine the challenge of re-teaching one's self to talk, and do all the other things we never think about. Kirk Douglas has done pretty well, too.

Double fatality wreck working on the scanner :( NYE sucks for that reason :( As we were safely launching some sky rockets I heard a call for a serious injury from a firework of some sort :( It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt.
