Into the Chief's lair....

I just went back to the beginning and reread the whole thing to this point. Just gotta say that this is one impressive series you did, Dan. Very nice......... :)

Eagerly awaiting the outcome (I think ;))

Really? The whole thing? You're a glutton for punishment. :D We still have about 200 to go before the epilogue.

Aaand... no, you shouldn't await the outcome. It's a.... little brutal. At least for you.... ;)

Yep, the whole thing. I had not realized how long it really was. Man, that had to be a lot of work drawing it. I am impressed.

I am still gonna await the outcome.

What are you trying to inventory?

We have a stock room where canned goods and non perishables are kept, we feed 120 folks a day. I want to inventory all food stock in the place, including that room and our walk in fridge and freezer, scan as we use and generate order forms based on menu's and what we have in stock.

In the near future I want to manage our membership with bar coded cards that count daily meal attendance.

How much snow did folks wind up getting? We are expecting 4-6 inches by tomorrow afternoon, Eli has strep throat but no fever or anything and will have had 3 doses of antibiotics by then so he'll get to enjoy his new sled!

Started about 9:45 I guess (we were in the Kennedy Center at the time). But for us it's supposed to change to DC Crud (sleeze all over everything) before ending around 1 PM. Still, billable hours for Zane, so not all bad.

Yo. Not caught up. I stopped in for coffee and pancakes then back out in the muck. It's supposed to turn to freezing rain and stick a coat of ice on everything. Jon, give a shout if you need anything, I'll be out all night.

Hard to tell exactly with the drifting, my guess would be at least 6 inches. With it so cold, it is very light so pretty easy to clear.

Their talking rain tomorrow. So I guess I should try to get some pictures today before it goes to yucky muddy looking.

^^^That.

The more I think about it the more I'm inclined to bundle up and head to the state park about 10 minutes from here. Not great light but not terrible.

As for weather LISA AND DAN I'm really concerned for your area. Stay safe.

Same as Becky here. Hard to tell as well but I'd say 6" too. Made for a very difficult Friday evening commute.

Hi everyone!

Zane, nice bear you posted there! - And Jim, nice picture with the traveling flame... That must have been an awesome trip!

Weather isn't really nice this weekend, so I've just downloaded the beta of LR4 and will play a bit with it. I'll try to make a book of our crossing using it...

DDA - C&C welcomed and encouraged

Morning kids, we've got a few inches now, supposed to keep going till this afternoon. There are already sledders out in the park so I would assume it is good sledding snow. E's too engrossed in cartoons to worry about it at the moment.

There is a show on cable over here called "Mounted in Alaska" following the day to day activities of Knight's Taxidermy. I am not sure that I would have a stuffed animal in my home but a well mounted deer can look stunning and there are some very good taxidermists in the UK. One of the best is Clair Fowler of (the bizarrely maned) Freedom Taxidermy

However some people are not so good
