They sent us home at 3:30 took almost 45 minutes to get home. Usually it takes 15. Roads are filling in as soon as they are plowed.

Beautiful Sneaux! Glad you made it home safely!

How much snow did folks wind up getting? We are expecting 4-6 inches by tomorrow afternoon, Eli has strep throat but no fever or anything and will have had 3 doses of antibiotics by then so he'll get to enjoy his new sled!

I'm just listening to the pouring rain.... :(

Skrim17 wrote in post #13742540 (external link)
Morning kids, we've got a few inches now, supposed to keep going till this afternoon. There are already sledders out in the park so I would assume it is good sledding snow. E's too engrossed in cartoons to worry about it at the moment.

Yep... it's still raining... My boys would LOVE for it to be snow!

Happy Belated Anniversary Crissa & Billy!

Yo. Not caught up. I stopped in for coffee and pancakes then back out in the muck. It's supposed to turn to freezing rain and stick a coat of ice on everything. Jon, give a shout if you need anything, I'll be out all night.

Stay safe!!! course it's morning already and I assume you are crashed in bed by now. :D

I was down with a migraine yesterday.:( First one I've had in ages!!!! Weather here is forecast for ice pellets this afternoon.

Shamelessly stolen from another forum. I just changed a couple words in the last sentence...

As a trucker stops for a red light, a blonde catches up. She jumps out of her car, runs up to his truck, and knocks on the door.

The trucker lowers the window, and she says "Hi, my name is Heather and you are losing some of your load."

The trucker ignores her and proceeds down the street.

When the truck stops for another red light, the girl catches up again. She jumps out of her car, runs up and knocks on the door.

Again, the trucker lowers the window. As if they've never spoken, the blonde says brightly, "Hi my name is Heather, and you are losing some of your load!"

Shaking his head, the trucker ignores her again and continues down the street.

At the third red light, the same thing happens again.

All out of breath, the blonde gets out of her car, runs up, knocks on the truck door. The trucker rolls down the window.. Again she says "Hi, my name is Heather, and you are losing some of your load!"

When the light turns green the trucker revs up and races to the next light.

When he stops this time, he hurriedly gets out of the truck, and runs back to the blonde.

He knocks on her window, and after she lowers it, he says...

"Hi, my name is Zack, it's winter in Maryland and I'm driving the SALT TRUCK."

Good one, Lonnie.

#2 couldn't wait until the 31st, he is on his way now. My phone got turned off by my seat belt and I missed the call while out shooting. I'll keep you posted.

We've been on Advisory for a couple days now. That's suppose to be done tomorrow morning. *shrug* I think we've gotten about a foot of snow the past couple days. And it's still snowing. :D

My last day at the grocery store is Sunday. And I start new job Monday morning. :D

Congrats on the new job Paula. Good luck with the snow
