A wedding I shot at the weekend in West Deeping Near Stamford.

Rather classic style of wedding photography, but I like it and feel it captured the event.

The location was a fantastic Manor House, near Stamford Lincolnshire.

Shot with a canon 5d mkii, Canon 70-200 F2.8 is mkii.

agree about the background. Lovely bride, but the shot would have been somuch better with a more shallow DOF.

I like the comp.
The colors are a little too subdued for my taste.
Agreed on the DOF issue.

I like the composition and the pose is nice. The main issue is that the bride does not seem to stand out much in the photo, especially with the blown out sky. Some additional PP can improve this to some degree.

As suggested, you could have used a shallower DOF. Personally, I like the background, but the bright sky is competing with the bride too much. You could have used some OCF to brighten up the bride and underexpose the background more.

Another idea is that you could use a non-standard aspect ratio and crop out some of the sky and maybe burn some of the bright reflections in the water.

After typing all of this, I realized you didn't really ask for C&C. So, feel free to disregard this post.
