The Microsoft Camera Codec Pack requires the following:

* Processor: 1.6 GHz or higher
* Memory: 1 GB of RAM or higher
* Resolution Minimum: 1024 × 576

installed and working fine for my 50d and 400d

Hmm does this work with the 64-bit version of Windows 7? Probably gonna replace my Canon Raw Codec with this if it does.

Thanks! Works fine on my Windows 7 64-bit version. It also shows the thumpnails of the 60D Raws, which is not listet in the overview for supported cameras.

Microsoft released a RAW WIC Codec Pack today. Being WIC codecs, any programs that use WIC (like Windows Photo Viewer or Live Photo Gallery) should automatically be able to read the supported file formats. This should include Explorer thumbnails -- though hopefully embedded previews can be used when available and sensible.

Available in both 32-bit and 64-bit editions. (That's right, Canon & Nikon users! )

Installed and works fine with Win 7*64 and 5Dc,makes life a lot easier

NO love for the Nikon D7000. Shame.

Folks should be aware that the Microsoft Camera Codec Pack works ONLY with Windows Vista (Service pack 2) or Windows 7.

Does this allow the preview in Windows Explorer? I purchased FastPictureViewer Codec a while back to allow full DNG preview in Windows. Just curious if this codec pack allows for the same.
