Nice. Comp leads the eye in very well. My only nit pick is that if the light trails were a bit longer, the leading element would be stronger.

You might want to rethink the title of this image, as there is no evidence that I can see of a drag race underway. A few red-streaked tail lights could be from anything.

I agree 100% with joedlh. When I first saw the whole image the question popped into my head, "Where's the race?" I had to search for it.

When the page loaded for me all I saw was the top half of the image and expected to see crowds along the side of the street, or parked cars (like a "Fast and Furious" type street race), but the person walking across the street on the right side of the photo tells me this could have just been 2 cars passing under a bridge on any given night down this street. It didn't portray what the title stated- to me any way.

I like how the street is lit up though and it fades up to black towards the sky. Very cool!

thank you guys for your comments

i agree with you about the title of the image , it doesn refer to a drag race but actually i didnt find a proper title for it , and as you said its not race at all , but i wanted to show the trail lights in a way which represent there is a race and somehow a kind of action is happening there

i have many other pics without name , am not so good in giving them a title :P

so could it be "street race" ? any better suggestion ?

great image, great title - this is photography at its finest - making you search for your own interpretative version of the photographers vision! great job!

The trail of car lights do give the impression (to me) of a race from the lights, and also the whole image is interesting, even without that.

Nice work.

i like the picture nice composure but i agree it would have been nice if the tail lights were longer.
