This one was embarrassingly underexposed (we had just changed up locations and I forgot to change my settings), so it was a bit of a 'save' job. I went with a more dramatic crop, and actually ended up LOVING it. Isn't it strange how an expression can make someone look so much older, or younger? I think she looks angelic here, but also much older than her 9 years.

Middle of her forehead looks a little soft to me but overall a great shot! You'd never know it was a "save" job. Love the eyes!!

Ok, so this is kind of an embarrassing before & after. We had just moved locations and I made the very newbie mistake of forgetting to check/change my settings. AKA it's super under-exposed. In cases like this, all I can say is thank goodness for RAW! It's amazing what a nice bump in exposure, a correct white balance, and a bit (ok, maybe a lot :blush: ) of noise removal can do for a pic that at first glance, looks like it belongs in the reject pile.
