I shot HS football last night under the lights and in the rain. I have used my 20D with an Aquatech SportShield with a Sigma 120-300 f2.8 on my monopod before, but bought a new Aquatech to use with my 2nd body Rebel XT and 70-200 L f2.8 handheld. Last night, I discovered (Duh!) that it's impossible to have the 20D/120-300 combo under an Aquatech hood an hand hold the XT/70-200 while also under the hood. First of all, it's hard to snap the XT/70-200 into shooting position, getting my hand out of the 20D/120-300 hood and quickly under the hood of the XT/70-200, quick enough to squeeze off a shot like I do when it's dry.

Any hints? I ended up putting the 20D/120-300/monopod on the ground when the action got close and used the XT/70-200 by itself. Any suggestions, other than growing a couple more arms? I really like the freedom to lean the monopod against my shoulder and shoot handheld with the XT/70-200 but this might not be possible with both lenses under SportShields.
