I imagine everything Google will be integrated somehow with Chrome. Keep your web Workflow centralized so to speak. Too bad chrome is among those Browsers that don't have color management. I use Firefox myself, but I also like using Opera, but Opera like Chrome isn't color managed.

Yeah, I just today decided to download it because if it isn't good for photos I figured I didn't need it! I've considered installing it because it has a good rep for speed, though...

But I did need to install Google Earth -- the one's I used to play with it on went by the wayside a few years back and since I now have a reason to be interested in it I went ahead in downloaded it and as part of the install it asked if I also wanted to install Chrome and I thought "sure, why not". So there it is:)!
