Well my daughter is going to be A senior (h.s) and wants me to take her pics. Now I shoot for hobby and haven't done this type of shooting. But she wants me to do it so ..Where do I start you can see in my sig.what I have and have been shooting for 20 years ..What I need help with is the pose and the element where to shoot what type of shots and should there be A theme? Any help would be appreciated even pics you have done to give me an idea of what to stride for..thanks

That thread is great. You should find some posing and technique ideas there. The advantage you have is that you have time and access to develop images that show all the elements of her personality.

any Idea what I need to get for outside shots maybe lighting wise? I have one 580exii so was thinking of getting one more slave unit and two stands and two umbrellas with a set of Pocket Wizards would that cover it?

Dont get pocket wizards, unless you are really wanting to go the whole ettl route. It would be much cheaper for you to get cybersyncs, or the YN RF-602 triggers. For that matter you can do a lot with only one light. But you are on the right track, get a stand or stands, a shoot through umbrella or two and, a swivel bracket for each flash/stand and you should be set.
