I am an 18 year old aspiring photographer from Arkansas. I actually made my account when I was around 13, but was a lurker until now :)
I now have gathered up the courage to actually post something. :P
I adore this forum and everything it has to offer, and would love some feedback/respectful critique from some of you amazing photographers!

First thing, Welcome!

The first image : The exposure looks great, I do like the processing. It looks a tad off balance, and I'd give her head a bit more headroom. Eyes tend to get drawn to tangency issues, where the subject comes very close to the edge of the frame but does not touch. You could also crop tighter and solve this as well. Overall a good image, a few little things and it's money!

Second image is wonderful! I love the processing, The model, the exposure. The only thing that bugs me is the little wrinkles below her shoulder... kinda distracting.

Great work and please keep sharing!

-Kyle

Welcome. These are nice shots and cool processing.

You might want to fix the link in your signature. It looks like a link to facebook, but goes to deviantart.

Thanks for the suggestions!
I will definitely try to mess with different croppings with the first one. And now that you noticed it too, those wrinkles are going to forever bother me until I fix them. I should have paid more attention to them in post.
Thanks again!

The first one is great, except I would maybe tone down on the sepia a little bit...second one I would like to see a little more contrast or less of the "washed-out" effect.

:)

Thanks again!

Since my future FIL shoots large format (film), some of his comments have rubbed off on me. Instead of paying attention during post, notice it when you take the shot, and consider a slight change to the pose to minimize the effect (he made that comment to me, btw).
