These were edited on an uncalibrated laptop so I would freely admit that I may have raised the brightness a bit more than I should, but the original files are not overexposed. I was trying to keep them somewhat high key (not high key in the strictest sense, not getting into that debate) for reasons personal to the subject. She is embarking in a new phase of her life and I wanted to show her in a bright light, literally and figuratively.

AZAlphaDog Goldmember 1,750 posts Likes: 6 Joined Oct 2009 Location: Southwest More info | One of the things I learned was to never crop a woman in the "thickest" part of their bodies (image one and three) It tends to make the subject look heavier than they are. Show the part of body that goes in, or the part of the body that starts to taper in at the waist rather than cropping at the widest part of the body (chest). DOUG JAMES | PHOTO PRODUCTIONS
