Second one is over exposed, and she just doesn't look like she's having a good time.

It was over 110 heat index the day we took these and she isnt a professional model by any means, so perhaps she wasnt as comfortable as I would have liked.

she looks fine to me, the smiles are a little forced but not to the point were it looks like she isn't having a good time.... I would like to see what number 1 looks like in black and white. Number 3 looks a little to hot. Did you shoot in raw?

Looks high key to me. I like the last one best besides her looking hot and miserable :P

Yes, I did shoot in raw. These were edited on an uncalibrated laptop so I would freely admit that I may have raised the brightness a bit more than I should, but the original files are not overexposed. I was trying to keep them somewhat high key (not high key in the strictest sense, not getting into that debate) for reasons personal to the subject. She is embarking in a new phase of her life and I wanted to show her in a bright light, literally and figuratively.

One of the things I learned was to never crop a woman in the "thickest" part of their bodies (image one and three) It tends to make the subject look heavier than they are. Show the part of body that goes in, or the part of the body that starts to taper in at the waist rather than cropping at the widest part of the body (chest).

Just a tip I learned. Maybe something to keep in mind.
