Last night I went to the a capella sampler here at PSU. There were some great groups. Here are a couple of my shots of the Pennharmonics. Unfortunately, I had to shoot at ISO 3200 with my nasty sigma 70-300 (not even the apo version) to get these, so they're not the best. However, I think for web purposes they turned out fairly well.
Any suggestions other than a bit of USM and buying that 70-200 f2.8? Color balance was pretty tough with this as they used various gelled lights. There was a noink user in the dead front center who was using a flash; I refrained from using one to keep the coloring and atmosphere of the concert (also to not bug the performers, though they gave me permission to use a flash).
