Everything will fit in my bag, but I was thinking of lighening it up a bit. I took out all of my accessories that I won't use, but which lens do you think will be overkill? General touristy stuff, alcatraz at night, gg bridge stuff like that. See sig for my current line up.

Thanks

I think 24-70L+430EX II + 135L will get the job nicely done, if u don't want to carry much.

24-70L + 100-400L and a flash. I don't usually change lenses in a street, don't know about you.

Surely only you can answer this as only you know what you want to shoot and how you want to work.

I would bring 24-70 + 35 + 135 + flash. Depends on what you want to get from the different places you mention.

I know this was a loaded question, I guess a better one would be: we you take your 100-400 or leave it at home to save weight. I was thinking of the 24-70 35 and 135.

I'd bring them all, you get there and want one you left behind and you'll be kicking yourself in the butt

I don't take all of my equipment on any trip. I designed a relatively lightweight kit consisting of 1 17-55mm f/2.8 IS and 70-200mm f/4L IS lenses and a pair of 1.6x cameras. I will always carry a pair of flashes and will occasionally carry a 12-24mm f/4 Tokina...

I don't carry my 300mm or 400mm lenses, unless I am planing to do things like sports or wildlife photography, nor do I carry my additional two cameras. My 50mm f/1.8 is going on sale since I never used it and my 135mm and 90mm lenses are IMO specialty lenses...

Not sure what you going to use 100-400L for? I would want something wider for sure, 24-70mm if only taking one lens.

If you want to do a shot of Alcatraz from the shore, you will want the longest of your lenses for sure. You could leave that in a safe in the hotel for all other trips except when you'd want it.

Good point.

Thanks for the suggestions
