What's the best portrait lens and for shooting kids? I want something that will work great both indoors and outdoors in low lights and bright light conditions too. Between the 70-200L and the 85L 1.2 or the 50 L1.2 which is the best?

Do you use a crop camera? Do you have large rooms in your house? I ask b/c the 85mm lens is quite long for me with my 40D, in my small house. I never use it indoors. It is an excellent portrait lens, and I use it all the time outside for portraits of my 2 year old. So for both inside and outside (for me), I'd do the 50mm lens, based on focal length.

The rooms are not that large. And I have a 60D.

I would take the 24-70L! I know it's not on your list, but it's a great lens

For indoor and outdoor, from your list, I would say get the 50. The other choices are fabulous, but like others have said, maybe hard to use indoors on a crop.

If it's indoors, I would use a 35L if money is not an issue. 35/2 is great for the money. Pleasing bokeh and fast to suck in those precious indoor light.
If you want a good decent zoom for value on a cropped cam, then look into a Tamron 17-50 2.8.
Also invest in a good Speedlite.

The best lens is the one on your camera, a lens in a bag is no use at all
