Just wondering...

If I am not going to be using a battery (BP-511) for a while is it best to store it fully charged or fully discharged or does it make no difference whatsoever?

Only reason I ask is I have several spare batteries and I used one today which I hadn't used in a while and I think I put it away fully discharged but I gave it a charge before using it and it died very quickly. Maybe it's just old. I thought I'd ask though so I can store my other batteries in the best conditions.

Cheers,

Nick

Nick - NEVER EVER store rechargeble batteries fully discharged. NEVER!!!
Fully charge and then store them. And while they are full and stored
you have to recharge (reform) them every 2 or 3 months so they retain theyr'e capacity.

Take a look at this info: http://www.batteryuniversity.com/ (external link)

Good luck.
