overexposed videos on Powershot ELPH 100HS

I got my wife the 100HS for Mother's Day. Since then we've been trying to take 1080p/720p video with it. We are using the Wintec Professional 16GB class-10 SDHC cards.

The videos taken with the 100HS are overexposed compared to those taken with her SD960is at 720p. We tried at 1080p and 720p with the same results.

Can someone tell me what to adjust so that the videos are not so bright? Thanks.
