These are not the greatest pics (the viewing stands were a long way from the field for my A95.
This was the final regular season game for these two University soccer teams, with the winner moving on the the playoff round.
Mid-way into the second half a dog raced on to the field and started chasing the ball.....and for the next 2 minutes, all hell broke loose as everyone tried to catch the dog.
Below are 5 pics that I was able to take. while trying to watch the fun, but the most riotous part can be noted in a couple of the shots. Note the dark-skinned player in the light shirt. He was absolutely terrified of the dog. As you can see, he is hiding behind the opposing player and actually hugging him from behind. He was convinced the dog was after him!
