I need a packpack to carry a 5d2 with 24-105 attached and an extra 16-35II. Nothing else.

I have been using a small Nat-Geo shoulder bag but now I need my hands free.

I've looked on line but don't know what small is.

Do you have any ideas.

For one, use a tape measure and figure out what the heck you figure is small. Nobody can tell you what small is. It's relative and subjective.

Perhaps look at the Flipside 200 from Lowepro. It's pretty slender, and for a Shaq it would definitely be small, but for my 1year old nephew it'll be huge!

You can also use sites like this: http://www.cambags.com (external link), to help you judge what will fit in what.

Flipside 200 is a very nice sized pack...
I had one but exchanged it for the 300 that I use now because I wanted to carry more. Sometimes I wish I had kept it...

I highly recommend this Kata: https://photography-on-the.net …15899&highlight=clown+car

$60 right now: http://www.bhphotovideo.com …gital_Micro_Rucksack.html (external link)

It'll hold your gear and is as small as they get. I just recently picked one up for my son.

The Kata is definitely smaller (or should I say shorter and more compact). I had the 200 and returned it for the 300. The pic of the Kata in the above image is very misleading. Its pretty small looking because of the design/dimensions.
DR 461: 11 x 6.5 x 12.2" (LxWxH)
Flipside 200: 8.6 x 6.2 x 16.5" (WxDxH)

BTW, Don't look for a review on youtube becasue all I ended up learning as how to dance: Youtube DR-461 Search (external link)
This is the Kata next to the Flipside 300

The Flipside series is very nice and also fits a ton of gear considering how compact they are. The Flipside feels bulkier but is also more protective overall.

Why don't you just get a belt bag?

The Think Tank "Change Up" would hold that gear. It can be a shoulder bag, or a belt bag.
