C+C

Hey every one,
looking for some C+C on this shot so I can figure out what might need to be fixed in this shot:

HTTP response: 400 | MIME changed to 'text/html'

I was using my 70-200 at a low SS and I forgot I turned off my IS = / so it looks like theres a little motion blur.

The idea is cool and the composition definitely leads the eye down to the bike. I just wish there was something more. Since the bike is the subject, I would like to see it sharper.

I don't know what is is about shots like this, but they work for me. I try to track what takes my eye so I can critique. At first it is the perspective which leads me to the bike, then when looking at the bike the lights through the framework bring the eye more the foreground.

It makes the whole picture work for me, there is more information in the framework than a vehicle to provide perspective.

Any comments that make it sound as if I know anything are purely coincidental.

I think the rocks in front help to ground the scene. But, in any pattern dominated picture I generally try to have everything really sharp.

As mentioned above, the bike is what you are drawn to, so it needs to be 'really' interesting.

Yeah I was afraid of that, after I took this shot the time I moved back and didn't realize my IS was switched off. I went back to try and get the shot again and the light I had faded (Go figure right).
