even when it rains in TX (I lived in DFW area for 20 years) you do not have much elevation change to create significant waterfalls.....at least not around DFW. ;)

I remember living in the DFW area, and yeah your right, but you guys have some lakes (Texoma comes to mind), although we've got Erie around here, but what's this rain in DFW you speak of, that hasn't happend in a long, long time....
