these are a couple of years old, but this is the 1st time sharing any of the images from this wedding,

My friends were getting married and there photographers mother had a stroke and had to fly back to the mainland so i did there wedding photos for them along with another friend (he has a few under is belt so i was second shooter)

i had been shooting for only a few months when this happen and these were shot on an eos rebel with a 18-200 quantry lens

Let me know what you think - These have been through MY P&P process ( she was 6 month pregnant at the time)

Do you have any other pictures besides these two headshots? Overall they are not bad. Certainly most clients would be happy to have them. I did however notice a few things...

1. They do not appear to be a standard size photograph. (4x6, 5x7, 8x10, etc)
2. Composition seems to be lacking. If these are crops (I assume they are due to their odd size) they could benefit by recropping them to fit better with the rule of thirds. This may make them more appealing. For example in the image of the bride, she is off center to camera left AND she is looking off frame to camera left. This quickly makes me lose interest in the photo.
3. The image of the groom appears to be underexposed a tad, especially when seen with the one of the bride.
4. The image of the groom appears to have had a blurring effect added in post processing. The "soft focus/skin" look usually doesn't lend itself well to men. Where has his chin gone?

Overall I say good job, but I would really love to see more of the pictures from the wedding.

the skin processing looks really fake and overdone.
