Acadia is definitely worth seeing, along with the entire coast of Maine. The Smithsonian On Demand (if you have it) currently has available the Maine By Air choice, as well as Oregon and South Carolina. Each is about 45 minutes and very informative.

SMNP, especially Cade's Cove in the spring and fall (during the week, not on weekends)
Arches and Canyonlands at Moab (one of favorite destinations)

The worst park: Glacier NP...it is absolutely hideous and I highly recommend everyone stay far far from it. ;)

Yep, absolutely! I'm totally ok with it though. The more popular a park becomes, the more likely it'll be "loved to death", like Yosemite.

So true. I went to Yosemite for the first this year and was amazed at how much of a zoo it was (people-wise). Granted, I went in June, which is probably the busiest time of the year, but still. I prefer Death Valley in February.

Hmmm, I really love so many of them. Last year we went to Arches, Zion and Yellowstone; this summer we enjoyed amazing waterfalls at Yosemite and in November, we will head to Death Valley. Plus we only live 35 miles from Sequoia Nat'l Park where the Giant Redwoods are awesome every time we head up the mountain.

I guess I don't have a favorite :)

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Death Valley. Went with a teacher on a field trip for a week. We got up at 4:30 every morning and made the trek to some part of the park and was shooting sunrise by 6:15. Nothing like morning light in Death Valley. Great way to see the best spots in the park too. Make sure to do your scouting or ask around. Rhyolite is in the next valley East and the Eureka Dunes is north near Scotty's castle.

Probably Cumberland Island National Seashore. I used to love the Smokies, but the amount of people is overwhelming.

Canon 80D and kit zooms. Also 50mm 1.8 and 10-16mm.

Sagarmatha National Park in Nepal easily. It's just so epic.

I live on a bicycle, sleep in a tent, eat pasta and work in the oil and gas industry, and shoot photography because I'm bad at it.

[What isw Acadia known for?]

Rugged Maine coastline, rocky balds (us Easterners might be tempted to call them mountains) that rise from sea level, pine and hardwood forests, kayaking along the coast and island lakes, biking the carriage paths, and more. And probably the most visited NP in the Eastern U.S. A truly diverse environment. As Maine's state slogan goes, "Worth a Visit. Worth a Lifetime"

Favorite National Park(s)? Many of my favorites have been listed here. Arches. Zion (the Narrows and Kolob canyon locations), Death Valley on a night with the full moon rising above Zabriskie Point, Bryce, Joshua Tree for solitude and diverse land forms, Canyon de Chelly at Spider Rock, Yosemite's Toulomne Meadows and valley, Lassen, Hawaii's Volcanic National Park.
