In the US,
Kenai Fjords National Park (love the whales, glaciers, vistas, bears, hiking, fishing....)
Glacier
Denali
Yellowstone
Captain Cook (Hawaii)
Bryce
Yosemite
Haleakala
Hawaii Volcanoes
Zion
Grand Canyon

too many to choose from but you can't leave out Canada. Banff/Yoho/Jasper combination are incredible places and would rank at or near the top of my list

For diversity, Yellowstone.

For sheer landscape beauty, Glacier.

Yellowstone and Everglades for wildlife.
Glacier and Bryce for the landscapes.

Only speaking of the few I've been to though of course.

In the UK, I have a soft spot for the Peak District.

Denali in Alaska. Beautiful in fall, which begins in August, plus lots of wildlife. Of course, we were lucky because our first day there was clear and Mt. McKinley was just beautiful.

I have been through 10 parks on my trip so far (7 National Parks). My favourite has to be Yellowstone. Yosemite is worth a mention, but the crowds after ~9am are horrendous :(

I just don't have a huge desire to go to Yosemite. I'm more of a canyon/sandstone guy than a mountain/granite guy. Plus the crowds. Then the fact that there are so many pictures of it on this forum that I feel I've been there many times. On the other hand, I really enjoyed my recent trip to Sequoia/Kings Canyon . . .

Yosemite is gorgeous, but that lower valley is insanely crowded.

That view from Glacier Point is tough to beat.

The ~2.5mile roundtrip up to Sentinel dome is very worth the effort. I think it's better than Glacier Point :)

I'd have to say Jasper National Park in Alberta Canada. I live in Alberta so I may be bias. It's beautiful and relatively quiet, even at the peak of the season.

Tough question since so many offer a multitude of photo opportunities. Arches would certainly be high on my list. Utah offers several others such as Bryce Canyon, Canonlands, Castle Reef etc.

Some of my other favorites would be the Colorado Monument, Mesa Verde, Grand Canyon (Particularly the North rim), Monument Valley, Badlands (SD), White Sands, NM and the Smokies. If you want to include areas that are not a national park, I would add the Columbia River Gorge (Weather permitting).

I am with you on the CRG (columbia river gorge), but it is a National Scenic Area, not a park. It would be simply too hard to make it a NP as the I-84 runs right through it. Weather is good ALL year round:).

As for me, I would say (and in particular order) Mt. Rainier National Park, Olympic National Park, Grand Canyon, and Crater Lake. I haven't been to many others, so I cannot comment. Petrified Forest is pretty cool though. It doesn't get a lot of love as it is pretty far off the beaten path.. Redwoods and Joshua Tree are cool as well.
